on my mind Monday..

Lots of things on my mind these days. Lots of changing going on.  Summer’s almost over. The boys are going to start kindergarten next week. (Ack! They’ve grown so big so fast!)   I changed my pricing and packages (be sure to check it out on my website, which I’m also in the process of updating right now too).  I’ve added the a tab to book a session & a tab for client galleries on top. We’re packing to move into a different place.  Lots of changes going on around here.

I’ve been engrossed with the TV Series Weeds.  I must say.. I’m addicted to Weeds.  I’ve watched up to Season 4 courtesy of Netflix and wish. wish. wish.. I had Showtime so I could watch Season 5.  It’s just so.. well um.. addicting!  Don’t worry.. it makes me want to try the plant as much as I want to cut someone up when I watch Grey’s Anatomy or shoot someone when I watch Criminal Minds, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Chuck or join the corporate world when I watch the Office.  Can you tell I can’t wait for season premieres??!!

It was my birthday last week.  My wonderful family bought me Guitar Hero World Tour.. Gotta love it. Yes, I’m really not that old.. just (eek) 33..

Of course, Megan can’t stop talking about her upcoming birthday in October.  I’ve already told her several times, we’re not having a big party for her this year but that’s not stopping her from telling me everything she wants for her (not happening) party.. She’s totally been into My Little Pony these days so it’s no surprise that she wants to have a My Little Pony party. I’ve been perusing this website which has caused the gears in my mind to start turning for her second favorite thing in the world, cupcakes.

Lastly, I’ve been watching the avocados in our tree grow.  They’re selling avocados for $1.50 at the supermarket these days.  This tree is like a gold mine!  I have no idea how many are growing on it right now.. Maybe 100? Ok, so $150 isn’t necessarily a gold mine but if you bought a $150 worth of avocados, you probably own a lot of gold.. or run a guacamole-making company ~in which case, give me a call, I can give you a good deal on some organic avocados I can’t wait for the them ripen.  I love eating avocados.. even if they make my mouth itch.
